Our Renault Estafette van
At the heart of it all is our beautifully restored Renault Estafette — a vintage bread van with a cheery face and endless French charm! Originally built for the KENZO fashion brand, it spent a decade abandoned before we rescued it and brought it back to life. Now, with its vibrant custom retro finish, it’s both an eye-catching centrepiece and a fully equipped control hub for the entire disco setup. It sets the tone visually before the music even starts. Add immersive disco lighting, great sound, and the unique vibe of our van, and you’ve got a complete party package.
So how does it work?
We provide high-quality wireless headphones, giving your guests the freedom to dance without disturbing the neighbours – no noise complaints, no curfews. And with three music channels to choose from, there’s always something for everyone. Whether they want chilled summer vibes, throwback hits, or full-on party bangers. And with the headphones lighting up to show which channel you are listening to, you can see who is vibing to the same soundtrack!
You control the music!
We have a delicious menu of playlists for you to chose from, curated to suit all tastes, or you can give us your own playlists to broadcast on the night. Add immersive disco lighting, great sound, and the unique vibe of our van, and you’ve got a complete party package. We bring the party without the noise!

We take care of everything
Arranging a Chut Disco couldn’t be more simple. Just send us a message using our contact form, or give us a call if you prefer and we can book your date and discuss your musical preferences… we will do the rest.
Whether we are the main event or a secondary space, we can create a vibrant dancefloor for your guests to strut their stuff! We can come in full-on disco mode…colours and flashing lights, or with a more subtle atmospheric twinkle…the van can even be dressed by your own events planner!
We make hosting effortless. Setup is quick and simple – you just bring the guests and let the party happen.
We take care of everything for you!

Dave Henderson
Dave doesn’t have quite the same pedigree as Les (few do!) but is no less obsessed with music. A lover of all genres he has a breadth of knowledge of indie, punk, post-punk, pop, country, folk, hip-hop, house and especially funk and disco.
He started drumming at the age of 13 at the behest of his best mate, who wanted to start a school jazz band, and has since played in funk, soul, indie, rock and punk bands.
Dave also DJed, although more as a hobby, starting with funk and reggae at York’s Arts Centre in 1988 and the Skyhook warehouse/free parties, then funk and hip-hop nights in the clubs and bars of Nottingham during his student years. He also played in the bars of south-west London, including a regular funk and disco night in the basement of Frieda Bs in Clapham.
